Appoint Commercial
Recently Jonas recorded some music for a new commercial of Appoint. Most of the time Jonas is asked to collaborate in pop, rock or world music, but this time he went solo playing a classical Bach-like tune. A very nice piece of work, you might say. The commercial is often broadcasted by SBS6, NET5 and Veronica.

Benjamin Winter in Paradiso
On june 18th 2006 the fat was in the fire again: Jonas played in Paradiso for a second time! Only this time with Benjamin Winter. A true highlight; not just because they had a great audience that specificly came for Benjamin, but also because the band played their best gig ever since Benjamin moved to Holland two years ago.

Red Limo String Quartet on TV
Just a couple of days before may 13th 2006 Jonas was asked to participate in the TV program Koppensnellers of Jack Spijkerman. For this oppertunity Jonas called in his new string quartet, the 'Red Limo String Quartet'. Besides the fact that they are specialised in playing different styles of music, they are also well experienced in doing TV appearances. On may 13th the TV shoot took place and was broadcasted that same night on Talpa.

Epica in Paradiso
May 4th 2006 was another highlight in de career of gothic band Epica. Their very first live-DVD was recorded on that day in the famous pop tempel Paradiso in Amsterdam. Of course Jonas played that night as their main cello player to add to the success of it. You can take a sneak peek at 'The Road To Paradiso' right here:

CD recording a balladeer
On the 28th of march 2006 Jonas recorded the song 'Once A Dreamer' which you can hear on the hit single 'Swim With Sam' of the band a balladeer. Jonas made the arrangements himself and played it in five different parts. The single 'Swim With Sam' is available in every music store, including iTunes.

Side By Side with Ben Folds Revive
On february 11th 2006 Jonas had much fun cooperating on the demo 'Side By Side' of the tribute band Ben Folds Revive. This band is doing it's best to promote the wonderful music of American songwriter Ben Folds in Holland. You can hear Jonas play on the songs 'Evaporated' and 'Fred Jones Part 2'.

New album Mathilde Santing
On december 12th 2005 Jonas could be found in Studio 150 where he spend a whole day working on the new album of Mathilde Santing together with 5 violinists. The album 'Under Your Charms' stood in the Album Top 100 chart ever since it has been released. You can buy it in every music store in Holland.

Calender evening
'Schiffmacher Scrap Skin Museum'
As a result of there lease of the spring calendar around the theme 'The Schiffmacher scrapskinmuseum', published by Flevodruk and designed byAnthon Beeke, the accompanying theme night took place on thursday, 23th of June 2005. Despite the high temperature, the room was once more filled with a lot of people, and people listened attentively to the many humoristic, though bizarre stories of Henk and Louise Schiffmacher, about the many tattoos that decorate their bodies. The discussion was led by Manuela Kemp and it did not take much to get both of the experts talking. During the evening, the atmosphere was accentuated with Mariachimusic, performed by the Mexican group 'Tierra Caliente'. In addition, Iris Hond and Jonas Pap performed an exquisite composition of their own, especially made for the occasion of Henk and Louise's wedding. Even afterwards, the atmosphere lingered...

Epica at Pinkpop festival
Saturday, the 14th of May 2005, Jonas appeared with met Epica at Pinkpop. During the performance, recordings were made to make a video clip. Sunday evening, the 15th of May 2005, 3FM broadcasted the song 'Solitary Ground' live.

First concert Benjamin Winter in Holland
The concert on Friday, 11th of March 2005, at the Melkweg was completely sold-out as the group supported heavy hitter "ArcadeFire". You could tell by the audience, that coming to Holland was certainly not a bad choice for Benjamin Winter.
